PhotoBiz Forms can be used for much more than a basic contact form. You can set an expiration date on any form to automatically stop new submissions after a specific day. This is helpful when you are collecting entries or requests for a limited time, such as contests, holiday sessions, waitlists, or special promotions. This guide walks you through how to add an expiration date to an existing form or a new one.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on FORMS in the left side menu.
Select the form you want to expire from your list of forms.
If you do not already have a form created, create a new form and open it in the Form Builder.
If you have multiple categories or pages of forms and you want to edit an existing form, you can use the search tool bar to find it by name.
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the Form Builder.
From the dropdown menu, select SETTINGS to open the form settings panel.
Locate the EXPIRATION DATE field in the settings panel.
Enter the date when you want the form to stop accepting new submissions, then click SAVE CHANGES.
Once saved, the expiration date is applied automatically.
The form will stop accepting submissions at midnight (12:00 AM) on the expiration date you selected. Visitors who visit theafter that time will get a message indicating the form is expired similar to the screen shot below.
