How to Set Up Your Website Using PhotoBiz AI Website Builder

PhotoBiz AI Website Builder is the first experience all new PhotoBiz customers see when they log in and begin working on their website. This guided setup is designed to help you get your website designed and ready to review as quickly and easily as possible.

The AI Website Builder walks you through selecting a template, uploading your logo and images, and adding your business details. During this process, PhotoBiz automatically creates your website layout, page content, image alt text, and page metadata to support accessibility and search engine visibility from the start.

This setup is available for new PhotoBiz accounts that have not yet launched with a domain and is the recommended way to begin building your website.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

If available, you can also click BUILD YOUR WEBSITE from the Your Website Checklist. This guided setup launches automatically for new PhotoBiz accounts and is designed to help you get started with confidence.

STEP TWO

Select your website template.

Click the green Select button on the template you want the Website Builder to use for your site design. The selected template will be outlined in teal. Click CONTINUE in the right-side panel to move to the next step.

If you prefer to skip the AI Website Builder setup, click SKIP SETUP in the right-side panel. A confirmation message will explain that your website will be created using the selected template style with placeholder images and text. Click Yes, Go Ahead to continue.

You can customize everything later, but completing the setup now saves time by automatically generating your website design, content, image alt text, and metadata.

STEP THREE

Upload your logo in JPG or PNG format.

After uploading your logo, it will appear in your control panel. If you decide to use a different version of your logo, simply upload the new file and it will automatically replace the existing logo. You do not need to delete the current logo first. If you don't have a logo, you can leave this section blank and your business name will be used as a text logo.

Starting with this step, a gray Back button appears next to the green CONTINUE button. You can use the Back button to return to the template selection step if you want to choose a different design. You can also use the Website Creation checklist on the right side of the screen to navigate back to completed steps.

Click CONTINUE to move forward.

STEP FOUR

Upload at least 25 images to your account.

The PhotoBiz AI Website Builder uses these images to create your initial website design. During this process, your images are optimized for web performance and automatically assigned image alt text to improve accessibility and search engine visibility. You can upload additional images later after your site is created.

On this step, the gray Back button allows you to return to the Upload Your Logo step if needed. You can also click completed steps in the Website Creation checklist on the right side of the screen to move backward.

Once your images are visible in the control panel, click CONTINUE in the right-side panel.

STEP FIVE

Add your business information and style details.

Enter your business name, location, specialty or services, style or approach, and brand voice. This information is used to generate website copy, page titles, meta descriptions, and other page metadata for the pages created during setup.

A gray Back button is available on this step, allowing you to return to the Upload Your Images step if you need to make changes. You can also use the Website Creation checklist to revisit previous steps.

When finished, click CREATE WEBSITE to begin building your site.

FINAL STEP

Wait for your website to be created.

Once you click CREATE WEBSITE, the website creation process begins and you can no longer return to previous setup steps.

It takes approximately 12 minutes for the initial version of your website to be ready. Once complete, you can review your site in the Website Builder. All generated content, including text, images, alt text, and metadata, can be edited or replaced at any time.

CONFIRMATION

When the setup process finishes, you will see a Website Created Successfully message. From there, you can preview your website or open the Website Builder to edit pages and add additional content.

What the AI Website Builder Does and Does Not Set Up

The PhotoBiz AI Website Builder creates the foundation of your website using the Website Builder. It does not automatically configure other areas of your PhotoBiz account.

The AI Website Builder sets up:

Core website pages
Page layouts and design styles using your images
AI-generated website text based on your business information
Image alt text
SEO meta titles, meta descriptions, and meta keywords

The AI Website Builder does not set up:

ECommerce products or services
Blog posts
Scheduler services
Quotes & Invoices
Client Galleries
Marketing tools or automations

These features are configured separately after your website is created.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

This guided setup is the standard first-login experience for all new PhotoBiz accounts
The AI Website Builder is available for new accounts that have not launched with a domain
The Website Creation checklist on the right side of the screen tracks your progress
Green checkmarks indicate steps you have already completed
You can click completed steps in the checklist to return to them before creating your website
Skipping the AI setup creates a site with placeholder content and no generated metadata
You can change templates, layouts, images, and SEO settings at any time after setup
You can reset your website and rebuild it with the AI Website Builder within the first 60 days of your account, or if you have not launched with a domain

Troubleshooting or FAQs

Why don’t I see the AI Website Builder option?
The AI Website Builder is only available for new PhotoBiz accounts that have not launched with a domain. If your website is already live, you can continue making updates using the Website Builder.

Can I edit the image alt text created during setup?
Yes. Image alt text can be edited at any time from the Website Builder.

What pages receive metadata during setup?
Metadata is created for the pages generated by the AI Website Builder during the initial setup process.

Does the AI Website Builder set up my entire PhotoBiz account?
No. The AI Website Builder creates your website pages and design. Other PhotoBiz features are set up separately.

What happens if I skip the AI Website Builder setup?
If you skip setup, page copy, image alt text, and metadata are not generated and must be added manually later.
