Adding your sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools makes it possible for you to be able to track when the last time Bing crawled your website. This guide will walk you through the steps on how to submit the sitemap for your PhotoBiz website to Bing using Bing Webmaster Tools.
Important Note: After setting up your sitemap with Bing Webmaster Tools, Bing will automatically crawl it regularly to check for updates and new content.
STEP ONE
Open another tab or browser window and verify your domain name with Bing Webmaster Tools or log into your Bing Webmaster Tools account.
First, you need to verify your website with Bing if you haven't already. To do so, log in to https://www.bing.com/webmasters/about and choose the add your site manually option with your domain name.
STEP TWO
Choose the HTML Meta Tag Verification option.
Copy the meta tag provided by Bing Webmaster Tools and paste it into the tracking section on your PhotoBiz control panel.
Once you've verified your website with Bing Webmaster Tools, you'll see a confirmation message.
STEP THREE
Submit Your Sitemap To Bing Webmaster Tools
After you've verified your domain, click on SITEMAPS in the menu on the left-hand side of your Bing control panel.
STEP FOUR
Click on the Submit Sitemap button.
STEP FIVE
Type in your blog RSS feed link, which will be https//www.yourdomain.com/blog-rss, and click on the submit button.
You'll also be able to see when you submitted your RSS feed as a sitemap and the last time that Bing crawled it.
