How to Use Slant and Point Dividers on Your PhotoBiz Website

Slant and Point dividers are advanced design tools that help you add eye-catching, angled shapes between sections of your website. You can fully customize them with colors, background images, opacity, and overlapping effects to give your content a dynamic, modern feel.

STEP ONE

Choose Your Divider Shape

There are four shape styles to choose from:

  • Slant Left
  • Slant Right
  • Point Up
  • Point Down

After picking a shape, you can customize:

  • The angle (based on thickness)
  • The colors for each section
  • The opacity (transparency level)

Once you're happy with the setup, click Save.

STEP TWO

Set the Overlap

You have three options for how your divider interacts with the content blocks above or below it:

  • No Overlap – Divider sits cleanly between sections
  • Overlap Above – Divider overlaps the section above
  • Overlap Below – Divider overlaps the section below

Each option gives your website a different visual flow.

STEP THREE

Adjust Thickness

Divider thickness affects the angle of the slant or point. Choose from:

  • Thin – Slight angle
  • Medium – Moderate angle
  • Thick – Dramatic angle

The thicker the divider, the steeper the effect.

STEP FOUR

Customize Opacity

In the Styling section, you can set how visible each part of the divider is. Use the opacity sliders for Section A and Section B:

  • 100% opacity = fully solid
  • 0% opacity = fully transparent

Example:

  • Section A: 90% and Section B: 0% = left side visible, right side transparent
  • Inverted: Section A: 0%, Section B: 90% = opposite effect

SLANT LEFT LAYOUT

Opacity of 90% for Section A and an opacity of 0% for Section B.

SLANT RIGHT LAYOUT

Opacity of 0% for Section A and an opacation of $90% for Section B.

STEP FIVE

Apply Color

Use the Color settings to apply solid colors to Section A, Section B, or both. Combined with opacity settings, this gives you full control over how your dividers blend with your website background.

Example

Section A and B both at 50% opacity with added color = soft color fade effect

STEP SIX

Add a Background Image or Pattern

You can add a background image or pattern to your divider for even more visual impact.

Note: Background images only work when no overlap is selected.

This option works great with transparency and color settings to create unique visual transitions between sections.

EXAMPLE

Combined with transparent sections and color settings, you can create wonderful effects with your dividers using a background

With a little creativity, Slant and Point dividers can transform your website’s layout into something modern, stylish, and engaging.
