How to Add a Subscribe Form to Your PhotoBiz Blog Posts

Overview

A Form Blog Widget allows you to display a subscription form at the bottom of every individual blog post on your PhotoBiz website. Visitors can enter their email address to join your mailing list and receive newsletters, updates, or announcements sent through PhotoBiz Marketing.

You can connect the widget to any form you have already created in the PhotoBiz Form Builder. This guide explains how to select a form, create the Blog Widget, and confirm that the subscription form appears on your published blog posts.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A form created in the PhotoBiz Form Builder
  • An Email field included in the form
  • A published blog post where you can view and test the widget

For a simple subscription experience, consider creating a dedicated form named Blog Sign-Up that only requests the visitor’s email address.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

This opens the Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages, settings, and blog display options.

STEP TWO

Click SETTINGS at the top center of the Website Builder.

The website settings panel will open.

STEP THREE

Click BLOG WIDGETS, then click the NEW WIDGET button.

The Create Widget section will open so you can configure content that appears at the end of each individual blog post.

STEP FOUR

Click the WIDGET TYPE dropdown menu and select FORM.

Enter a label for the widget. The label appears as a heading above the form on your blog posts. Use a clear invitation such as Subscribe to Our Newsletter, Join Our Mailing List, or Stay in Touch.

Next, select the subscription form you want to display from the form dropdown menu.

FINAL STEP

Click CREATE WIDGET to save the Form Blog Widget.

The widget will appear in your Blog Widgets list and automatically display at the bottom of each individual blog post. It does not appear on the main blog page or inside the Blog Block that displays your collection of posts.

Open a published blog post and scroll to the bottom to confirm that the widget label and form display correctly. Submit a test entry to make sure the form is working as expected.

Recommended Form Setup

A short form usually provides the best subscription experience. Consider including only the information you need, such as:

  • Email address
  • First name, if you plan to personalize your emails
  • A brief statement explaining what subscribers will receive

You can also assign a contact tag such as Blog Subscribers through the form settings. This makes it easier to identify and organize subscribers when creating campaigns in PhotoBiz Marketing.

Make sure the form clearly explains that visitors are signing up to receive email communications from your business.

Where the Subscribe Form Appears

The Form Blog Widget appears at the end of each individual blog post. Visitors must open a specific post to view and complete the form.

The widget does not appear:

  • On your main blog page
  • Inside a Blog Block that lists multiple posts
  • On other website pages unless you add a separate Form Block to those pages

Managing Your Subscribers

When a visitor submits the form, you can review the submission in the Forms Dashboard. The visitor’s information may also be added to your PhotoBiz Contacts based on the contact settings configured for the form.

You can then use PhotoBiz Marketing to organize your contacts and send email campaigns to your subscribers.

Updating or Removing the Widget

Return to WEBSITE, click SETTINGS, and open BLOG WIDGETS whenever you need to manage the subscribe form.

From the Blog Widgets list, you can update the widget settings or remove the widget if you no longer want the form to appear on your blog posts.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

The form is not available in the dropdown menu

Confirm that you created and saved the form in the PhotoBiz Form Builder. Return to the Blog Widget settings after the form has been created.

The form does not appear on the main blog page

This is expected. Blog Widgets display at the bottom of individual blog posts, not on the page that displays your full collection of posts.

The widget heading is unclear

Edit the widget label and use a direct invitation such as Subscribe for Updates or Join Our Newsletter. The label appears directly above the form.

A test submission does not appear

Confirm that the form was submitted successfully, then check the Forms Dashboard for the new submission. Also review the form’s contact and notification settings.
