PhotoBiz ECommerce allows you to sell Gift Cards that clients can use during checkout on your website and in Client Galleries. In most cases, gift card balances update automatically as they are used. This guide explains how to manually adjust a gift card balance when you need to add or subtract an amount from an existing gift card. You might do this to correct an error, apply a courtesy credit, or make an internal adjustment.
Important Note
Gift Card balances automatically decrease when clients use them at checkout. This guide covers manual balance adjustments only and should not be used for normal gift card redemption.Log into your PhotoBiz account and click ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.
At the top center of your ECommerce control panel, hover over SELL ONLINE and click GIFT CARDS from the dropdown menu.
Locate the gift card you want to update and click directly on the Gift Card Number to open its details.
Enter the amount you want to adjust in the amount field. Choose whether you want to add or subtract that amount from the gift card balance. Click SAVE CHANGES to apply the updated balance.
After saving, the gift card total will immediately reflect the new amount.
Manual adjustments should be used carefully, as they directly change the available balance.
All future purchases using the gift card will apply against the updated amount.
This change does not notify the client automatically.
