PhotoBiz ECommerce makes it easy to create coupons for your clients, allowing you to offer discounts, sales, and promotions on Products, Scheduler, Services, Prints, Packages, and Digital Images. This guide will walk you through the steps to set up a coupon.
If you prefer to run a sale on your website without requiring clients to enter a coupon code, you can also set up a sale campaign.
If you want to offer a sale on your website without your client's having to enter in a coupon, you can also set up a sale campaign.
Important
Currently, coupons apply only to orders made through ECommerce, Scheduler, and Client Galleries. They are not available for use with Invoices or Form Payments.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on the ECOMMERCE option in the left side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over the PAYMENT menu item and click on COUPONS in the drop down menu.
STEP THREE
Click on the NEW COUPON button.
STEP FOUR
Choose the type of coupon you'd like to create. You can choose from 3 types of coupons:
- Percentage Discounts (% Off Total Order, % Off Single Item, % Off Group of Items)
- Dollar Discounts ($ Off Total Order, $ Off Single Item, $ Off Group of Items, Free Shipping)
- Buy One Get One (Buy One Get One % Off, Buy One Get One $ Off, Buy One Get One Free)
Select a coupon type by click on it, and then click CONTINUE at the bottom of the screen.
STEP FIVE
You'll enter the details on the coupon you're setting up in this step. When choosing a dollar or percentage off a total order, you are prompted to enter in the following:
- Discount Code: Actual coupon code that you will distribute to your customer. They will type this in when they check out. Note: You can only use one coupon code per order.
- Description: Internally description for you to keep track of your coupons.
- Begin Date/Expiration Date: Select specific dates for your coupon to be valid.
- Max Number of Uses: Set a maximum number of times that your coupon can be used.
- Discount Amount: Value of discount. In this example, this would be a percentage amount off of a customer's total order.
- Min Order Price: Set a minimum order amount to be reached before your coupon is valid.
- Max Order Price: Set a maximum order amount that can be reached before your discount will no longer be applied to the order.
Once you have entered in the options for your coupon, click create coupon.
Coupons that require specific items will have steps that allow you to choose either groups of items within a category, or specific item(s).
You can choose the add button to add additional items with the discount or choose remove to delete the items selected.
