Overview
PhotoBiz ECommerce lets you create coupon codes for percentage discounts, dollar discounts, free shipping, and Buy One Get One promotions. You can use coupons to discount an entire qualifying order, individual items, groups of items, or purchases that meet specific requirements.
PhotoBiz organizes coupons into three categories: Percentage Discounts, Dollar Discounts, and Buy One Get One. This guide shows you where to create a coupon, explains the available coupon types, and directs you to the complete setup instructions for each category.

Only one coupon code can be applied to an order.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu. This opens the ECommerce Dashboard, where you can manage products, services, orders, payment settings, coupons, and other ECommerce features.
Mouse over PAYMENT at the top of the ECommerce Dashboard, then click COUPONS from the drop-down menu. This opens the Coupons area where you can create and manage coupon codes.
Click NEW COUPON. PhotoBiz displays the available coupon types organized into Percentage Discounts, Dollar Discounts, and Buy One Get One promotions.
Click the coupon type you want to create, then click CONTINUE at the bottom of the screen. The settings and additional setup steps that appear depend on the coupon type you select.

Use a Percentage Discount when you want to reduce a qualifying order or item by a percentage.
Available Percentage Discount coupons include:
Percentage coupons can apply to an entire qualifying order, one qualifying item, or multiple qualifying items. Some options also let you set order-price or quantity requirements.
When entering a percentage Discount Amount, enter the whole number. For example, enter 7 for 7%, not .07.

Use a Dollar Discount when you want to subtract a fixed dollar amount from a qualifying purchase or offer free shipping.

Depending on the coupon type, you can apply the discount to an entire qualifying order, specific items, groups of items, or selected shipping methods.

Use a Buy One Get One coupon when a qualifying purchase should unlock a discount or free item.
Available Buy One Get One coupons include:
BOGO coupons use a two-part item-selection process. You choose what the client must purchase to qualify and separately choose which items receive the discount or become free.

Choose % Off Total Order or $ Off Total Order when you want the promotion to apply to an entire qualifying order.
Choose % Off Single Item or $ Off Single Item when you want one qualifying item to receive the discount.
Choose % Off Group of Items or $ Off Group of Items when your promotion should apply to multiple qualifying items.
Choose Free Shipping when you want to remove qualifying shipping charges. You can control which available shipping methods are included when configuring the coupon.
Choose a Buy One Get One coupon when purchasing a qualifying item should provide a percentage discount, dollar discount, or free qualifying item.
When your client reaches an eligible ECommerce or Client Galleries checkout, they can enter the coupon code you created.
If the order meets the requirements you configured, the applicable discount is applied and the order total updates.
Only one coupon code can be applied to an order.
If a client enters a coupon that cannot be applied, the cart will indicate that the coupon is invalid or that the items in the cart do not meet the coupon requirements.
Why isn't my coupon working?
Check the coupon's Begin Date, Expiration Date, qualifying items, usage limit, and any order-price, quantity, shipping, or Buy One Get One requirements you configured. The client's order must meet the coupon requirements before the discount can apply.

What is the difference between a coupon and a Sale Campaign?
A coupon requires your client to enter a coupon code during checkout. A Sale Campaign lets you run promotional pricing without requiring the client to enter a coupon code.

Can I create a coupon that can only be used once?

Can I create a coupon for only certain products or services?
Yes. Coupon types that include item selection can be configured for Any Item, Any Item in a Specific Category, or Specific Items.
Can coupons be used with Client Galleries?
Yes. Coupons can be redeemed through Client Galleries checkout for eligible qualifying purchases.
Can coupons be used with Scheduler purchases?
Yes. Scheduler is an eligible item type for coupons.
Can clients use more than one coupon on the same order?
No. Only one coupon code can be applied to an order.
Can coupons be used with Forms or Invoices?
No. Coupons cannot be applied to Form payments or Invoices.
