How to Try a New Home Page Design Without Changing Your Website

Overview

If you want to explore a new website design without affecting your live site, PhotoBiz makes it easy. Using the PhotoBiz AI Website Creator, you can generate a brand-new page from any template and keep it hidden while you review it.

This allows you to test a new home page layout, update your design, or experiment with a fresh look using your own images and branding. Your current website remains unchanged until you decide to make the new page live.

Prerequisites

Before using the PhotoBiz AI Page Creator, review your Business Profile in the Branding section of your control panel.

The AI uses this information to generate page content, including text and messaging. Keeping your Business Profile accurate and up to date helps ensure your pages reflect your brand correctly.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu to open the Website Builder.

Click the NEW PAGE button in the upper left corner, then click PAGE to launch the PhotoBiz AI Website Creator.

Choose the type of page you want to create, such as Home, About, or Gallery. Browse the available designs and select one from any template. The template name appears on each option so you can easily explore different styles.

Click Continue once you have selected your design.

STEP TWO

Enter a name for your new page that helps you identify it later, such as “New Home Page Test.”

Set the page visibility to Hidden. This ensures the page will not appear on your live website while you are working on it.

Click Continue to move to the next step.

STEP THREE

Upload new images or select images from your existing library to use on the page.

Once your images are selected, click Create Page. The PhotoBiz AI Website Creator will generate your page using your images and Business Profile content.

FINAL STEP

Open your new page in the Website Builder to review the design.

You can edit the text, replace images, rearrange blocks, or adjust the layout as needed. When you are ready, you can either set the page to Visible and use it as your new home page or keep it hidden until you decide.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes  

  • Each AI-generated page uses 5 AI requests from your monthly allowance
  • Image alt text and SEO meta titles and descriptions are created automatically
  • You can edit, move, or remove any block after the page is created
  • You are not changing your template — you are only adding a page design from another template
  • It is recommended to keep your original home page hidden instead of deleting it, in case you want to switch back
