Overview
You can create a direct link to a specific section of a page on your PhotoBiz website by copying the URL from that block’s preview page. This is helpful when you want to send visitors directly to a specific area, such as a pricing section, contact form, featured gallery, service description, or promotion.
You can use this direct block link in emails, text messages, email marketing campaigns, social media posts, buttons, blog posts, or client instructions. You can also use this same link when manually adding an anchor-style link inside a Text Editor Block or Text + Image Block, so visitors can click text on one part of your website and jump to another section or block.
This guide walks you through how to manually copy a direct block URL from your Website Builder and use it as a link.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This opens your Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages, blocks, and design settings.
Click the page that contains the section you want to share.
This opens the page editor so you can view and manage the blocks on that page.
Click the block that contains the content you want to link to or click the pencil icon on the upper right corner and click advanced in the menu that opens.
After you select the block, the settings panel will open on the right side of your screen. At the top of the panel, click the Manage Your [Block Name] button.
The button name changes based on the type of block you are editing. For example, it may say Manage Your Text Editor, Manage Your Images, Manage Your Form, or another block-specific name.
A preview of that specific block will open in a new browser tab or window.
Copy the URL from the address bar of the new browser tab or window.
This URL is the direct link to that specific section of the page. When someone opens the link, they will be taken directly to the selected block instead of starting at the top of the page.
Paste the link wherever you want visitors to access that section of your website.
You can share the direct section link in an email, text message, email marketing campaign, social media post, blog post, or client instruction. You can also use it as a manual link inside a Text Editor Block or Text + Image Block if you want clickable text to send visitors to another section of your website.
Once someone clicks the link, they will be taken directly to the section you selected. This makes it easier for visitors to find the exact information you want to share.
You can use the copied block URL to create an anchor-style link inside a Text Editor Block or Text + Image Block. This is helpful when you want visitors to click a word, phrase, or sentence and jump to another section of your website.
Common examples include linking text such as:
To use the link, open the Text Editor Block or Text + Image Block where you want to add the clickable text. Highlight the text you want to link, use the link option in the Text Editor toolbar, paste the direct block URL, and save your changes.
After saving, visitors can click the linked text to open the specific section or block you selected.
Direct block links are useful when you want to highlight a specific area of a longer page.
Common uses include linking directly to:
You can also use this link with a Button Block if you want a button on one page to send visitors directly to a specific section on another page.
If you update the content inside the block later, the direct link will still point to that same section of the page.
The link opens the page, but not the exact section
Make sure you copied the URL from the block preview tab or window, not the main page editor. The direct block URL is created from the preview page that opens after clicking the Manage Your [Block Name] button.
The Manage button does not match the article exactly
The button name changes based on the block type. Look for the button at the top of the right-side settings panel that begins with Manage Your followed by the block name.
The manual text link is not working
Open the Text Editor Block or Text + Image Block where you added the link. Highlight the linked text and confirm that the full direct block URL was pasted into the link field. Save your changes, then test the link again.
The link does not open correctly for visitors
Open the link in a private browser window or a different browser to test it as a visitor. If the page or block is hidden, unpublished, or password protected, visitors may not be able to access it.
