Overview
If all of your PhotoBiz notification emails appear to come from the same person, this is usually caused by how your email app (most commonly Apple Mail on Mac or iPhone) saves contacts.
This happens when the PhotoBiz notification email address is accidentally saved under a client’s name in your contacts. As a result, every notification email displays that client’s name instead of “PhotoBiz.”
In this guide, you’ll learn why this happens and how to fix it so your notifications display correctly again.
PhotoBiz sends all system notifications from the same email address:
emailsupport@mailbiz1.photobiz.com
Email apps like Apple Mail use your saved contacts to decide what name to display for incoming messages.
If this email address is saved under a client’s contact, your device will show that client’s name for every PhotoBiz notification email.
If your notification emails are showing up with the wrong name, here’s what to do:
Open your email app or contacts app on your device.
Go to your Contacts or Address Book.
Search for emailsupport@mailbiz1.photobiz.com
If you see this email saved under a client’s name, delete that contact or remove the email address from the contact.
Return to your inbox and refresh your email. Your PhotoBiz notifications should now display correctly.
