How to Add Video to a Marketing Email

Your PhotoBiz Website Package includes 10,000 monthly marketing emails — perfect for sending newsletters, promotions, and updates to your audience.

Want to boost clicks and engagement? Using video in your email marketing is a smart move! While most email platforms don’t support embedded video, you can still make it work by using an image with a play button that links to your video.

Before You Begin

Make sure your video is uploaded to your PhotoBiz website or to a platform like YouTube or Vimeo. Then, grab the URL where the video can be viewed.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click MARKETING from the menu on the left.

STEP TWO

Create a new marketing campaign, or search for and click the name of an existing one to edit it.

STEP THREE

Add an Image Block to your email and upload a graphic or screenshot from your video. (Tip: Use a thumbnail with a play button icon to encourage clicks!)

FINAL STEP

Click on the image and enter the Link URL to your video (on your website, YouTube, Vimeo, etc.).
When you're done, click SAVE CHANGES.

That’s it! Now when subscribers click the image, they'll be taken directly to your video.
