PhotoBiz ECommerce allows you to set up a merchant to accept credit and debit cards with a merchant account. You can also set up to accept offline payments payments with Zelle. This allows your customers to complete their order online through your website or client galleries and then pay you via their Zelle account to your Zelle account. Your client will have to have a Zelle account to pay you as Zelle does not process credit/debit card payments the same way a merchant account does.
Important Note: PhotoBiz is not affiliated with Zelle, for help with questions about Zelle functionality, pricing, etc., you'll need to contact Zelle Customer Support.
PRO TIP!
If you're using Offline Payment methods, all orders that come through your PhotoBiz account will show a status of Pending until you've updated them to paid via the Payment Status section of the order. After you update the payment status from Pending to Paid, your clients will be able to download digital images and products. Check out our guide on updating Payment Status on Your Orders below:Guide: How To Update The Payment Status on my Order
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over PAYMENT at the top, center of your ECommerce control panel. The drop down menu will open and you can click on MERCHANTS.
STEP THREE
Click on the NEW MERCHANT button.
FINAL STEP
Select OFFLINE PAYMENT from the drop-down menu of available Merchants. From there you can configure the following options for your Offline Payment Method:
- PAYMENT NAME: You'll want to enter: Pay with Zelle.
- SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Use this section to include specific instructions on how to send you the money for the payment via Zelle.
- THANK YOU MESSAGE: This section is where you can have a customized thank you message for clients who have selected this option. This is also a great place to let clients know that orders won't be processed until the payment has been received since it's not going to automatically come to you the way a credit/debit card payment through your merchant would.
Click on the ADD MERCHANT button to add this to your list of available payment options.
After you've set up Zelle, your customers will see that along with any other payment options you've set up at the checkout screen. Below is a screenshot of what your customers might see if they selected Zelle as their payment method.
