How To Import My Legacy Website Builder Content to PhotoBiz 9
PhotoBiz’s Legacy Website Builder was actively developed between 2013 and 2018 and is no longer receiving updates. While Legacy websites can remain live and editable, they do not support SSL and do not include newer features available in PhotoBiz 9. For improved security, performance, and long-term support, we strongly recommend migrating your content to PhotoBiz 9.
This import process is simple and can be completed in just a few clicks. Your existing website is not replaced or taken offline, and you can review and edit your new PhotoBiz 9 site before launching it.
Important Note
This process applies to Legacy Website Builder websites only. If your website is still using the HTML5 Portfolio website, refer to the guide on migrating to PhotoBiz 9 from Portfolio.

Prerequisites
Before starting, make sure:

You can log in to your PhotoBiz account.

Your Legacy Website Builder site is still active.

You understand that importing copies your text and images, while layout and design are based on the PhotoBiz 9 template you choose.
STEP ONE
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE from the left-side menu in your control panel.
STEP TWO
While viewing your Legacy Website Builder, click TRY PHOTOBIZ 9 in the top-right corner of the screen.
STEP THREE
Browse the available PhotoBiz 9 templates.
Select the template you want to use for your new website, then click SELECT.
STEP FOUR
When prompted, choose Import My Content and Images from Existing Builder Site.
Click CREATE SITE to begin the import process.
Your supported text and images will be copied automatically from your Legacy Builder into your new PhotoBiz 9 site.
FINAL STEP
Once the import is complete, you’ll be taken directly into the PhotoBiz 9 Website Builder where you can begin editing immediately. No additional setup is required.
You can take your time adjusting the layout and design, preview changes, and fine-tune your site before launching it. Your existing Legacy website remains live and unchanged until you are ready to switch.

Troubleshooting / FAQs
Does importing delete my Legacy website?
No. Importing creates a separate PhotoBiz 9 site. Your Legacy Builder website remains unchanged.
Will my entire site design look the same?
Text and images are imported, but layout and styling are controlled by the PhotoBiz 9 template you select. You can edit the design to match your preferences.
Can I re-import if I change my mind?
The import process can be completed once. However, you can change templates and adjust layouts in PhotoBiz 9 as often as you like.
Do I need to schedule downtime for my website?
No. Your Legacy website remains live while you work on your PhotoBiz 9 site. You choose when to launch.
What will my membership cost after moving to PhotoBiz 9?
For most customers, membership pricing remains the same. Legacy plans are transitioned to the $29 Website Package, which includes 5,000 files as the base package once your PhotoBiz 9 site is launched.
This transition retires Legacy Builder–only features, including legacy ecommerce events, and provides full access to PhotoBiz 9 features such as SSL encryption, Scheduling, Client Galleries, Blog, Quotes & Invoicing, and other modern tools.
