How to Change the Watermark Position in PhotoBiz Client Galleries

Overview

PhotoBiz Client Galleries centers the default copyright watermark and does not have a setting for moving it. To place a logo or copyright notice elsewhere, create a custom transparent PNG with the artwork positioned where you want it. A 3000 × 1730-pixel PNG covers the complete image canvas for both landscape and portrait gallery images. You can also place multiple copies of your logo on that canvas to create a repeating watermark.

STEP ONE

Open Photoshop or another image editor that supports transparent PNG files. Create a new document that is 3000 pixels wide by 1730 pixels high, and set its background to transparent.

These dimensions let the watermark cover the complete image canvas for both landscape and portrait images in Client Galleries. Smaller PNGs can be uploaded as watermarks, but PhotoBiz centers them. Use the full-size canvas when you want to control where your artwork appears.

STEP TWO

Add your logo, business name, copyright notice, or other artwork to the transparent canvas. Position it where you want it to appear over gallery images. For example, place a logo near the bottom-right area of the canvas for a watermark near the bottom-right area of the photo.

Leave the rest of the canvas transparent. PhotoBiz does not have a separate position control; the artwork’s placement within your PNG determines where the visible watermark appears.

STEP THREE (Optional)

To create a repeating logo watermark, place multiple copies of your logo across the same transparent canvas. Arrange and space them in your image editor before uploading the PNG.

PhotoBiz does not automatically repeat a single uploaded logo. The copies you add to the PNG form the pattern that appears over gallery images.

STEP FOUR

Export your completed design as a PNG. Confirm that the canvas is 3000 × 1730 pixels, the unused areas are transparent, and the artwork is positioned as intended. Avoid exporting it with a solid background, which would cover the photos beneath the watermark.

FINAL STEP

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click CLIENT GALLERIES in the left-side menu. Click SETTINGS, then locate WATERMARK VISIBILITY below IMAGE PROTECTION. Click ADD FILES or drag and drop your PNG into the upload area, then click SAVE CHANGES.

Open an event with Display Watermark enabled and preview landscape and portrait images. If you display watermarks in the gallery grid, check both the thumbnails and the large image view. To adjust the position or repeated pattern, edit the PNG and upload the revised file.

What Your Clients See

Clients see the custom watermark over images in events where Display Watermark is enabled. Your choice under Display watermark in: determines whether they see it only when opening an image or in both the large image view and gallery grid. You can adjust its visibility using the percentage menu in WATERMARK VISIBILITY.

The watermark appears while clients view images in the gallery. It is not added to files they download. To include a watermark in a downloaded image, apply it directly to that image before uploading it to Client Galleries.
