Overview
The PhotoBiz Form & Contract Builder allows you to embed a video inside a custom form using the Video field. This is helpful when you want clients to watch an introduction, review instructions, or see important information before completing the form.
Videos placed directly inside a form must use an embed code from a third-party video platform, such as YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, or another provider that supports video embeds. Videos uploaded directly to PhotoBiz cannot currently be added inside the form itself.
If you want to use a video uploaded to PhotoBiz, you can create a landing page in the PhotoBiz Website Builder, add your form to the page using a Form Block, and add your uploaded video to the same page using a Video Block.
Before you begin, make sure your video is uploaded to a video provider that offers an embed code.
Common video platforms that provide embed codes include:
You will need the full embed code from your video provider before you can add the video to your form.
The Video field inside the Form & Contract Builder only supports embedded video code. It does not support videos uploaded directly to your PhotoBiz account.
To use a video uploaded to PhotoBiz with a form, create a page in the PhotoBiz Website Builder instead. Add your form to the page with a Form Block, then add your PhotoBiz-hosted video to the same page with a Video Block.

Inside the form editor, look at the form field options on the right side of the screen. Click Miscellaneous, then click Video to add a Video field to your form.
The Video field will be added to the bottom of your form. You can click and drag the field to move it to the section of the form where you want the video to appear.
Click the Click to Embed Video section in the middle of the Video field. You can also click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of the Video field.
Paste the full embed code from your video provider into the embed field, then click Save Changes to apply the update.
After saving, your video will display inside the form. Clients will be able to play the embedded video directly from the form before or while they complete their submission.
You can use embedded videos in forms for many types of client-facing content, including:
For the best client experience, keep the video short and place it near the related form fields. For example, if the video explains session policies, place it before the acknowledgment or signature section.
If your video provider offers privacy settings, confirm the video is allowed to be embedded. Some private or restricted videos may not display correctly outside the video platform.
If your video is uploaded directly to PhotoBiz, you will need to place the video and form together on a website page.
To do this, create or open a page in the PhotoBiz Website Builder. Add your form to the page using a Form Block. Then add your uploaded video to the page using a Video Block.
This option is helpful when you want to use videos already stored in your PhotoBiz account while still collecting information through a form.
For step-by-step instructions, see:
Why is my video not showing inside the form?
The most common reason is that the regular video URL was pasted instead of the embed code. Go back to your video provider and look for the share or embed option, then copy the full embed code.
Can I upload a video file directly into the form?
No. Videos inside the form itself must be added with an embed code from a third-party video provider.
Can I use a video uploaded to PhotoBiz?
Not directly inside the form. To use a PhotoBiz-hosted video, add the form to a Website Builder page with a Form Block, then add the video to the same page with a Video Block.
Can I move the video to another part of the form?
Yes. After adding the Video field, click and drag it to the location where you want it to appear in the form.
Do I need to save after adding the video?
Yes. Click Save Changes after adding or updating the embed code. This applies the update to your form.
