How to Use a Third-Party Email Service with Your PhotoBiz Domain
PhotoBiz offers Mailbox as an option for clients who want a professional, branded email address using their domain name (example: yourname@yourdomain.com).
If you already have an existing email service such as Google Workspace, GoDaddy, Microsoft 365, or another provider, you can continue using that service with your PhotoBiz domain at no additional cost from PhotoBiz. You will continue paying your email provider directly for your email service.
Follow the steps below to connect your existing email service with your PhotoBiz account.
Important Note
If you’re using a third-party email service, PhotoBiz Support can help ensure your DNS and Mail Records are set up properly.For questions about mail functionality, billing, or configuring mail clients such as Apple Mail or Outlook, please contact your email service provider’s support team.
STEP ONE
Gather the required DNS and MX records from your email service provider.
Each email provider (such as Google Workspace or GoDaddy) has specific DNS and MX records that are needed for your email to work correctly with your domain.
STEP TWO
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click DOMAINS in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
If you’re using the latest version of PhotoBiz and hosting your DNS through Route 53/AWS, click the MANAGE DNS button to access your DNS settings.
If you’re on a legacy PhotoBiz product or your DNS is hosted on our older Rackspace servers, you’ll need to either:

Update your website and/or switch your name servers to access the new DNS management tools, or

Contact PhotoBiz Support to have our team add the DNS/MX records for you.

STEP THREE
Add the DNS and MX records provided by your email service.
FINAL STEP
After saving your changes, please allow up to 24 hours for your email service records to propagate.
