Overview
If you run Facebook or Instagram ads — or plan to advertise in the future — adding a Meta Pixel to your PhotoBiz website can help you track visitor activity and improve ad performance. The Meta Pixel allows Meta to collect website activity data that can be used for reporting, retargeting, audience building, and ad optimization.
This guide walks you through how to create your Meta Pixel, where to place the tracking code inside your PhotoBiz Website Builder, and how to confirm your Pixel is working properly.

Create your Pixel inside your Meta Business account.
Before adding a Pixel to your PhotoBiz website, you’ll first need to create one inside Meta Business Manager. During setup, Meta will provide you with a Pixel tracking code script that you’ll copy into your website.
Once your Pixel is created, copy the complete Pixel code provided by Meta.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This opens your Website Builder, where you can manage your website settings and tracking options.
Most users should use Global Website Tracking because it tracks activity across their entire website. Individual Page Tracking should only be used when you want to track a specific page separately.
Use this option if you want your Meta Pixel to track visitor activity across your full website.
Click TRACKING at the top of the Website Builder.
Paste your Meta Pixel code into the HEAD section. This section loads tracking scripts across your website.
Click Save Changes. Your tracking code will immediately begin loading on your website.
Good to Know: This is also a good time to republish your sitemap if it has not been updated recently.
Use this option if you only want your Meta Pixel to load on a specific page.
Click the page name where you want to add tracking.
Click SEO.
Scroll down to the Advanced Tracking section.
Paste your Meta Pixel code into the tracking field.
Click Save Changes to apply the update immediately.
Test your Meta Pixel to confirm it is working properly.
Return to your Meta Business account and use Meta’s testing tools to verify that your Pixel is active and receiving data from your website. Meta also provides a Test Events feature that allows you to visit your website and confirm tracking activity in real time.
Once your Pixel is active, Meta can begin collecting website activity data to support ad reporting, conversion tracking, retargeting audiences, and campaign optimization.
Why Use a Meta Pixel?
The Meta Pixel helps Meta understand how visitors interact with your website. This data can help improve advertising performance and audience targeting.
