An ALT tag (or alternative text) is descriptive text of an image on a web page. The main function of alt text is to help with accessibility to your website. For visitors to a website that are visually impaired and using a screen reader, alternative text will describe what an image is to the visitor to your blog post. Another function of alternative text is that they help search engine crawlers understand what an image is in your blog post is. This guide will walk you through the steps of adding alternative text to images you've uploaded to your blog post.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on BLOG in the left side menu.
STEP TWO
You can CREATE A NEW BLOG POST or click on an EXISTING BLOG POST to add alt text to the images.
STEP THREE
Click on the Image block that contains the images you want to add alt text to. You can either click directly on the block or click on the pencil icon on the top right of the block and choose Advanced.
STEP FOUR
In the menu that opens on the right side, click on the image thumbnail you want to add alt text to.
FINAL STEP
Enter the alt text you want to use in your image and click on SAVE CHANGES.
You can repeat these steps for any images that you're using on your blog post content.
