How to Use the FAQ Block in the PhotoBiz Website Builder
The FAQ Block makes it easy to share common questions and answers with your visitors. Whether you're listing pricing questions, explaining your process, or just sharing general info — this block helps you do it in a clean, organized way.
STEP ONE
OPEN THE WEBSITE BUILDER
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE from the main menu on the left.
STEP TWO
CHOOSE A PAGE
Click on the name of the page where you’d like to add the FAQ block—or create a new page.
There are two ways to add an image block:
- Quick Add: Click the FAQ icon on the right side of the screen. The FAQ block will be added to the bottom of your page.
- Drag & Drop: Hover over the FAQ icon, click and hold, then drag it to your preferred spot. Release when a teal line appears. You can always move the block later by dragging it up or down.
STEP THREE
SELECT A LAYOUT
Browse our library of predesigned layouts, and choose the select button on your favorite one.
- Blank blocks will use the global styling settings of your website.
- Predesigned blocks will use custom design settings to look exactly like the layout you have selected
STEP THREE
ADD YOUR FAQ ITEMS
The Edit FAQ will open on the right side menu. If you've selected the blank layout, you can click on NEW ITEM to add new Question and Answers. If you've selected a predesigned block, you can add new questions, click on exsting questions to edit them, or check the boxes on existing ones you don't need to delete them.
STEP FOUR
ENTER YOUR QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Each FAQ item includes:

QUESTION (max 400 characters): This will always be visible.

ANSWER (no limit): Depending on your layout, answers may be expanded by a click or always visible.
Need help writing your content? Use Ask PhotoBiz AI right in the editor! Just type a prompt like:

“Write a fun FAQ about what to expect in a newborn session.”

“Help me describe how my wedding photography packages work.”
Click Generate Text and you’ll get helpful, editable copy instantly.
📌 Note: You can add up to 50 question/answer pairs in each FAQ block.
When you're ready, click Create Item to save your first FAQ. Repeat this step to add more.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR FAQ BLOCK LAYOUT
You can choose how your FAQ content appears by selecting a layout that fits your style. In the FAQ Block settings panel, go to Current Layout, then click Change to see your options.
Here’s a quick overview of layout styles:
Accordion Layouts (Click to Expand Answers)

Accordion Plus: Click the "+" icon to reveal answers.

Accordion Bar: Click the question itself to expand.

Accordion Arrow: Click the arrow to toggle answers.
Contemporary Layouts (Always Visible)

Contemporary Title: Q&A side-by-side, separated by a line.

Contemporary Border: Groups questions with borders, in one or two columns.
List-Based Layouts

Numbered List: Displays numbered questions. Choose 1–2 columns.
Modern Layouts (Stylized Designs)

Modern Bar: Questions in bars with answers below. Choose 1–3 columns.

Modern Line: Horizontal line separates question/answer. Choose 1–3 columns.

Modern Pinboard: Grid layout of FAQ boxes. Choose 1–3 columns.

Modern Center: Center-aligned version of Modern Line.
STYLE YOUR FAQ BLOCK
Depending on your layout, you'll be able to adjust:
- Title Alignment: Left, Center, Right
- Description Alignment: Left, Center, Right
- Space Between Items: Add spacing between Q&As
- Space Below Block: Adjust space before the next section
- Space Inside Blocks: Add padding within each FAQ item
CUSTOMIZE COLORS
Under the Colors tab in your FAQ block settings, you can fine-tune the look:
- Item Title Color
- Text Color
- Background Color
- Line Color
- Icon Color (for + or arrow icons)
- Shape Background/Text Color (for Numbered Lists)
- Item Background Color (used in Modern Bar layout)
Click Save Changes when you’re done.
ADD A BACKGROUND IMAGE
Want to add a background? Choose from our Background Library or upload your own. Then, pick how it displays:
- Tile
- Top Left
- Centered
- Cover
Click Save Changes to apply it.
CUSTOMIZE FAQ FONTS
Want your FAQ block to stand out from the rest of your site? You can override your default fonts.
Under the Fonts section in the block settings, you can update:
- QUESTION
- ANSWER
- ANSWER H1
- ANSWER H2
- ANSWER H3
Customize font style, size, spacing (kerning), and line height.
Click Save Changes to apply.
