HOW TO EDIT THE FOCAL POINT OF AN IMAGE ON YOUR WEBSITE
Images are one of the most important parts of your website. They capture attention, tell your story, and connect with your visitors. To make sure your images always look great—especially on different screen sizes—you can set a focal point, which highlights the most important part of the image.
Setting the focal point is a quick and easy alternative to cropping. It helps ensure the right part of the image stays in view, no matter the device.
You can adjust the focal point on these block types:
- Banner Blocks
- Image Blocks
- List Block Items
STEP ONE
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-hand menu.
STEP TWO
Choose the page that contains the image you'd like to adjust.
STEP THREE
Click anywhere inside the block that contains the image, or click on the pencil icon on the upper right corner of the block and choose ADVANCED. This will open the Advanced Settings panel on the right.
STEP FOUR
In the side panel, click the image thumbnail you want to edit.
STEP FIVE
A larger view of the image will appear with a white crosshair in the center.
Click and drag the crosshair to the area of the image you want to keep in focus.
Click Save Changes when you're done.
