The Blog Block in PhotoBiz allows you to control how your blog posts appear on your website using multiple layout styles. You can switch layouts at any time without rebuilding the block or re-entering content. Layout changes apply instantly in the website builder, making it easy to preview different styles before publishing. By the end of this guide, you will know how to change the layout of an existing Blog Block and understand what each layout option includes.

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE from the left-hand menu.
Select the page that contains the Blog Block you want to update.
Locate the Blog Block on the page. You can change the layout in one of two ways:
Option One: One-Click Layout Change
In the upper right corner of the block, you'll see the current layout name with left and right arrows. Click the arrows to scroll through available layouts and preview them in real time.
The layout updates automatically—no need to click save.
Option Two: Change Layout in the Right Side Panel
Click the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the block. Then select CHANGE LAYOUT from the menu that appears.
If using Option Two, layout choices will appear in the right-hand panel. Browse the available options and click the Save button under the layout you want to apply.
Your changes will appear automatically in the builder preview. To see how the new layout looks on your live site, click the VIEW SITE button at the top of the builder.
You can choose from 12 Blog Block layouts. Here's a quick overview of what each one does:

Editorial Layouts
These layouts focus on clean design and minimal text.
Editorial Circle

Editorial Square

Editorial Landscape
Horizontal thumbnails displayed in a grid with the post title and date underneath. No text excerpt is shown.
Editorial Portrait

Editorial Journal
A single-column journal layout with the post title and date above a large featured image. Each post includes a short text excerpt and a Read More link.
Editorial Pinboard
A two-column editorial grid with images displayed above the post title and date. Each post includes a Read More link, but no text excerpt.
Designer Layouts
These layouts include preview text to give visitors more context.
Designer Landscape
A horizontal layout with the date overlaid on the image, followed by the post title and a text preview below.
Designer Portrait
A vertical layout with the date overlaid on the image, followed by the post title and a text preview below.
Designer Pinboard
A pinboard-style grid with images, the date overlaid on each image, and a text preview displayed below the title.
Contemporary Layouts
These layouts offer modern spacing and strong visual balance.
Contemporary Feed
A modern, alternating feed layout with large images and post details displayed side by side. Each post shows the date, title, and a Read More link, with the image and text alternating left and right as visitors scroll. This layout does not display a text excerpt.
Contemporary Journal
A clean, single-column journal-style layout with the post title and date displayed above a large featured image. Each post includes a visible text excerpt below the image and a Read More link.
Changing layouts does not affect your blog posts, images, or content.
You can switch layouts as often as needed.
Layout previews update instantly in the builder.
Some layouts prioritize images, while others emphasize written content.
