How to Change Block Load Animations in PhotoBiz

Overview

Block load animations control how content blocks appear when visitors view and scroll through your website. You can have blocks fade in, slide up, or appear without animation. You can also control how quickly the selected animation plays.

Block load animation is a global design setting. Your selection applies to every block across your entire website and cannot be customized for individual blocks.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Click DESIGN at the top of the Website Builder.

This section contains the global design settings for your website.

STEP THREE

Click EDIT DESIGN SETTINGS.

Your design settings will open in a panel on the right side of the Website Builder. The LOGO section may be selected automatically when the panel opens.

STEP FOUR

Click ANIMATIONS in the design settings menu.

The ANIMATIONS panel contains the global settings for block load animations, image hover animations, and button hover animations.

FINAL STEP

Under BLOCK LOAD ANIMATION, select NONE, FADE IN, or SLIDE UP. If you select an animation, choose SLOW, MEDIUM, or FAST under BLOCK LOAD SPEED.

Click SAVE CHANGES to apply your selections to the website.

Your selected block load animation and speed will apply to every block across your website. View your live website and scroll through multiple pages to see how the animation appears to visitors.

Block Load Animation Options

The BLOCK LOAD ANIMATION setting determines how blocks appear when a page loads or as a visitor scrolls through the page.

NONE: Blocks appear without a load animation.
FADE IN: Blocks gradually become visible.
SLIDE UP: Blocks move upward as they appear.

Block Load Speed Options

The BLOCK LOAD SPEED setting controls how quickly the selected animation plays.

SLOW: The animation takes longer to complete.
MEDIUM: The animation plays at a moderate speed.
FAST: The animation completes more quickly.

Block load speed does not create an animation by itself. Select FADE IN or SLIDE UP under BLOCK LOAD ANIMATION to use a speed setting.

Important Information About Block Load Animations

Block load animations are global and apply to every block on every page of your website. This includes existing blocks and blocks you add later.

You cannot choose a different block load animation or speed for an individual block. To remove block load animations from the website, select NONE and click SAVE CHANGES.

Block load animations are different from hover animations. A block load animation occurs as website content appears. A hover animation occurs when a visitor places their cursor over a supported image or button.

Other Website Animation Settings

The ANIMATIONS panel also contains global hover animation settings for images and buttons. These settings are separate from BLOCK LOAD ANIMATION.
