How to Organize Images with Folders in Your PhotoBiz Image Clipboard

Overview

The Image Clipboard in your PhotoBiz account makes it easy to store, organize, and reuse images throughout your website. Instead of uploading the same image multiple times, you can use an image from your clipboard in multiple Website Builder Blocks.

You can create folders to organize images by photography session, portfolio category, project, or any other grouping that works for you. You can also move existing images between folders or upload new images directly into a selected folder.

This guide walks you through creating folders, moving images, and keeping your Image Clipboard organized.

STEP ONE

OPEN YOUR IMAGE CLIPBOARD

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click FILES in the left-side menu.

This opens your Image Clipboard, where you can view, upload, and organize your images.

STEP TWO

OPEN YOUR IMAGE CLIPBOARD FOLDERS

At the top of your Image Clipboard, you'll see a folder dropdown menu and a manage folders button.

Click the dropdown menu to view your existing folders, switch between folders, or select + Add New Folder to create one.

You can also click manage folders to open the FOLDERS panel on the right side of your screen, where you can view and manage your existing folders.

STEP THREE

CREATE A NEW FOLDER

You can create a new Image Clipboard folder using either of these methods:

  • From the folder dropdown: Click the dropdown menu at the top of your Image Clipboard and select + Add New Folder.

  • From Manage Folders: Click manage folders, then click new folder in the right-side panel.

Enter a descriptive name for your new folder, such as Weddings, Family Portraits, Portfolio Images, or Website Graphics.

Click Create Folder to save it.

Your new folder will be available in the dropdown menu at the top of your Image Clipboard.

STEP FOUR

NAME AND CREATE YOUR NEW FOLDER

The NEW FOLDER panel opens on the right side of your screen, regardless of which method you used to add a folder.

Click the FOLDER NAME field and enter a descriptive name, such as Weddings, Engagements, Family Portraits, or Portfolio Images.

Click create folder to save your new folder.

PhotoBiz will automatically open your newly created folder in the Image Clipboard. Since the folder is empty, you'll see a No clipboard images found message with an option to upload images.

You can click upload or Click Here to Upload to add new images directly to the folder, or move existing clipboard images into it using the steps below.

STEP FIVE

SELECT THE IMAGES YOU WANT TO MOVE

Use the folder dropdown menu to open the folder containing the images you want to move.

Select the checkbox next to each image you want to move.

You can select multiple images to move them together instead of organizing them one at a time.

After selecting your images, click MOVE to open the image movement options.

FINAL STEP

MOVE YOUR IMAGES TO THE NEW FOLDER

In the right-side panel, click the folder dropdown menu and select the destination folder.

Click Move to complete the process.

Your selected images will now appear in the destination folder.

To view your organized images, use the folder dropdown menu at the top of your Image Clipboard and select the folder where you moved them.

Your images will now appear in the new folder, helping you stay organized and efficient!
