Gift Cards in PhotoBiz allow you to apply prepaid credit toward products and services. You can use them for prepaid orders, session credits, contest prizes, or customer rewards. Gift Cards can be redeemed in both Client Galleries and your Ecommerce store. This article shows you how to create, send, and manage Gift Cards in your PhotoBiz account.
Gift Cards cannot be used toward invoices or form payments.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click ECOMMERCE from the left-side menu.
At the top of the Ecommerce dashboard, hover over SELL ONLINE, then click GIFT CARDS from the dropdown menu. This takes you to the Gift Card list.
Click the NEW GIFT CARD button. A settings panel will open on the right side of your screen where you can enter the Gift Card details.
In the right-side panel, enter the Gift Card amount and add a description for your internal reference, such as a session credit or contest prize. When finished, click ADD GIFT CARD to generate the Gift Card.
You will see a confirmation message indicating the Gift Card was created successfully. The new Gift Card will appear at the top of the Gift Card list.
To email the Gift Card, enter your client’s email address in the field on the right-side panel and click RESEND. PhotoBiz will send a branded email directly to your client.
You can also manually share the Gift Card number by copying and pasting it into an email, text message, or other communication method.
Pro Tip
You can customize the gift card number! Click directly on the gift card number to edit it—great for creating easy-to-remember codes for your clients.Enter your customer's email address into the field on the right side menu and click resend.
Once sent, you will see a confirmation message that the Gift Card email was delivered.
Your client will receive a branded email that includes your studio information, the Gift Card amount, and the Gift Card number they will use at checkout.
Confirm and Manage Your Gift Card
Your Gift Card will remain visible in the Gift Card list, where you can track and manage it at any time.
Each column in the Gift Card list provides helpful tracking information:
Number – The code your client uses at checkout
Description – Internal notes for your reference
Order No. – Displays if the Gift Card was purchased online
Created – The date the Gift Card was created
Amount – The total value of the Gift Card
Balance – The remaining amount available
Status – Indicates whether the Gift Card is active or inactive
You can customize the Gift Card number by clicking directly on the number in the list.
Gift Cards can be used toward purchases in both Client Galleries and Ecommerce.
Gift Cards remain active until the balance reaches zero or the card is manually deactivated.
Gift Cards cannot be applied to invoices or form payments.
To delete a Gift Card, check the box next to the Gift Card number in the list. Click DELETE at the top of the page, then confirm by clicking YES, DELETE IT.
Deleted Gift Cards cannot be recovered. If a Gift Card is deleted, a new one must be created.
