Overview
PhotoBiz Client Galleries make it easy for your clients to order prints, digital images, products, and packages directly from their gallery. You can control what products are available by assigning a Price List to each event. Your clients can shop from individual images, review their cart, choose available shipping options, and complete payment online. This guide explains the ordering experience from your client’s point of view so you know what they will see when placing an order.
Before clients can place an order, make sure you have an active Client Galleries event with a Price List assigned. The products, packages, digital images, and shipping options your client sees are controlled by the Price List connected to the event.
Your client starts by opening their gallery and logging in to view their images. Once they are inside the gallery, they can browse the images available in the event.
If Email Collection is turned on for the gallery cover page, your client will enter their email before entering the gallery. This allows them to begin shopping right away and helps connect their gallery activity, such as saved carts, favorites, comments, and downloads, to their email address. Email Collection also will help if you want to use Email Automations for abandoned cart, reminders, etc.
To start shopping, your client can hover over an image and click the shopping cart icon. On mobile devices, they can tap the image or shopping cart option to begin selecting products for that image.
If Email Collection is not turned on, your client will be prompted to enter their email address after clicking the shopping cart icon. This creates their cart and allows their shopping activity to be saved.
After your client starts shopping, they will see the items available for the selected image based on the Price List assigned to the event. This may include prints, digital images, packages, or other products.
Your client can click the plus icon next to an item to add it to their cart.
They can continue adding more images and products, or they can move forward to checkout when they are ready.
Before checking out, your client can review the items in their cart. They can remove items, make changes, continue shopping, apply a coupon if one is available, or proceed to checkout.
This step gives your client a chance to confirm their selections before entering billing, shipping, and payment details.
At checkout, your client enters their billing information. They can also enter a separate shipping address if the order needs to be shipped somewhere other than the billing address.
The checkout screen guides the client through the required fields so they can complete the order.
Next, your client chooses from the shipping options available for the order. Only the shipping methods enabled in the assigned Price List will appear during checkout.
If the order does not require shipping, your client will only see the checkout options that apply to the products they are purchasing.
Your client reviews the order total, enters a gift card code if they have one, answers any custom checkout questions, and selects their payment method. When everything is complete, they click Submit Order to place the order.
If your client chooses PayPal, they will be redirected to PayPal to complete the payment. After payment is submitted, they will see an Order Confirmation screen with the option to view their receipt or continue shopping.
Email Collection is recommended for Client Galleries because it helps connect client activity to an email address. This makes it easier to track saved carts, favorites, comments, downloads, and ordering activity from your Client Galleries Dashboard.
Email Collection also supports Client Galleries email automations, such as abandoned cart emails and reminder emails. This can help you follow up with clients who start shopping but do not complete their order right away.
You can review client activity from the Activity section of your Client Galleries Dashboard. This helps you see progress connected to a client, including saved carts, favorites, comments, and downloads.
The products, packages, digital files, and shipping methods shown during checkout are controlled by the Price List assigned to the event. If a client does not see an option you expected, review the event’s assigned Price List and shipping settings.
