Can You Use the Same Password for Multiple Client Gallery Events?

Each Client Gallery event in PhotoBiz requires its own unique password. This ensures that your clients are directed to the correct gallery when they log in.

In this article, you’ll learn why passwords must be unique and how this affects your clients’ experience.

Why Each Event Needs a Unique Password

When a client visits your Client Galleries login page (typically formatted like yourdomain.com/proofing), they enter a password to access their specific event.

Because the login page uses the password to identify which gallery to open, each event must have a different password.

If multiple events shared the same password, the system would not be able to determine which gallery to display. Requiring unique passwords ensures:

  • Clients are directed to the correct event
  • Galleries remain private and secure
  • There is no confusion when accessing images

What Your Clients Experience

Your clients will visit your Client Galleries login page and enter the password you provided for their event.

Once entered correctly, they are taken directly to their gallery where they can:

  • View images
  • Mark favorites
  • Download files (if enabled)
  • Purchase prints or products
  • Receive any assigned email automations

This process is designed to be simple and secure for both you and your clients.

Additional Notes

  • You can choose any password for each event, as long as it is different from other active events
