You can import a CSV file to add existing contacts to your PhotoBiz account. However, if the file is misconfigured or your device encounters issues, the upload may fail or time out. This guide will help you troubleshoot and resolve any errors that occur during the importing process.
Ensure You Have Uploaded The Correct File Type
The only supported file type in the contacts uploader is a CSV. If any other file type is uploaded here (PDF, DOC, XLS, etc.), an error will appear.
Label Your Columns Appropriately and Remove Excess Columns
If your columns are labeled incorrectly or if there are too many columns in your document, your upload can time out or fail. All column labels in your CSV document must be in English, and the only required column is Email.
Remove or rename any columns that do not fit the list below, and remove any non-essential or blank columns from your document to reduce the file size.

Upload in Batches
Typically, you can import up to 5,000 contacts per import attempt. However, depending on your device's uploading speed and how many columns you have in your document, this limit can vary. If your document is otherwise set up properly but still experiencing an import error, try splitting the document into batches of 1,000 or fewer contacts.
Clear Your Browser Cache
Occasionally your browser will cache the images and information from the websites you visit. If you haven't cleared your cache in awhile, this can cause larger actions like uploading contacts to time out.
Check Your Internet Connection

If your internet connection is running slow, you may want to restart your router and make sure it's also up to date with any updates that it requires.
