How to Remove Your Logo Background with PhotoBiz

Overview

The free PhotoBiz Logo Background Remover lets you remove the background from an existing logo and customize the finished version. You can keep your original logo colors or change them to all black or all white, adjust the sizing, and choose a transparent, white, or black background. The preview updates as you make changes so you can review your logo before downloading it as a PNG. No PhotoBiz account or payment is required.

STEP ONE

Open the PhotoBiz Logo Background Remover.

STEP TWO

Drag your existing logo file into the upload area, or click BROWSE FILES to select a file from your device.

You can upload a PNG, JPG, GIF, or BMP file up to 12 MB. Use a clear, high-quality version of your logo for the best results. Your logo stays on your device during processing.

STEP THREE

Your selected logo appears below the upload area with a thumbnail, file name, and file size. Click MAKE BACKGROUND TRANSPARENT to remove its background.

If you want to use a different file, click REMOVE beside the file name, then upload another version.

STEP FOUR

Scroll to CHECK YOUR TRANSPARENT LOGO to review your result. If your uploaded logo already has a transparent background, a message confirms that the tool kept it as is.

Select ORIGINAL COLORS, ALL BLACK, or ALL WHITE to choose your logo color. You can also adjust the sizing and preview your logo against a transparent, white, or black background.

STEP FIVE

Use the sizing controls above the preview to select ORIGINAL SIZE, TIGHT, or LOOSE.

Select ORIGINAL SIZE to keep the original image dimensions, TIGHT to trim empty space around your logo, or LOOSE to leave more space around it.

The preview and dimensions below it update automatically as you change your selection.

STEP SIX

Use the background controls at the bottom of the logo preview to select TRANSPARENT, WHITE, or BLACK. These options let you check how your logo looks against different backgrounds.

The checkerboard pattern represents transparency. Try the white and black backgrounds to make sure your logo’s lettering and details remain easy to see.

These settings only change the preview background. Your downloaded PNG will have a transparent background.

STEP SEVEN

Review your finished logo to make sure its lettering, details, color, and spacing appear as expected.

The information below the preview updates automatically to show your selected sizing, any applied color change, the logo’s dimensions in pixels, and its file size. TRANSPARENCY VERIFIED confirms that the finished logo has a transparent background, even when you preview it against white or black.

You can adjust your selections before downloading.

FINAL STEP

Click the download option to save your finished logo to your device.

Your logo downloads as a PNG using your selected color, sizing, and background options. You can now upload it to your website or use it in other designs.

Helpful Notes

Keep your original logo. Save the downloaded version separately so you have both available for future projects.
Preserve transparency. If you selected TRANSPARENT, keep the downloaded file in PNG format. Converting it to JPG replaces transparency with a solid background.
Check the background where you use it. A transparent logo allows the website or design background to show through. Choose a logo color that remains easy to see.
Review the result carefully. Image quality and contrast can affect background removal. If details are missing or unwanted background remains, try a clearer version of your original logo.
