PhotoBiz Quotes & Invoices allow you to send custom, line-item service quotes to your clients so they can approve or decline the price you're quoting them. Occasionally you may want to include or attach a file for your client to download with your quote, this guide will walk you through how to include a file with your Quote.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on FILES in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Click on the DOCUMENTS link at the top of the Files control panel.
STEP THREE
Upload the file you'd like to attach to the quote you're sending to your client.
Pro Tip: You can upload JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TTF, OTF, WOFF2, PDF, PSD, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, ZIP, ICO, MP3, JS, CSS, SVG. - if you have a file other than these types, you can create a .ZIP file and upload it to the file section to attach to your quote.
STEP FOUR
Your uploaded file will be added to Your File Library. You can use the Sort By option to set to Date to make sure your most recent upload is the 1st file that's listed. Highlight and copy the link to the file.
STEP FIVE
Click on QUOTES & INVOICES in the left-side menu inside your PhotoBiz account.
STEP SIX
Click on QUOTES at the top of the Quotes & Invoices control panel and then click on the QUOTE NUMBER you want to include your file with.
STEP SEVEN
Click on the EDIT button on the upper, right side of the quote.
STEP EIGHT
Click on OTHER DETAILS in the menu on the right side. This section will allow you to add custom text and link your file to your quote that you're sending to your client.
Best practice here would be to use the Title to indicate there's a File Attachment or a Digital Download. Use the Message section to type out a call to action to link your file so your client can download the file you're attaching.
STEP NINE
Highlight the text you want to attach your file to in your quote and click on the INSERT LINK button.
Once the window pops up, paste the link to your file and CLICK on the OK button.
Scroll down to the bottom of the Other Details section and click on Save Changes. This will attach your file to your quote so when you send it to your client, they'll be able to download the file you've included prior to them paying their invoice.
Once you've sent your client their quote, they'll have a link to download the file attachment similar to the screenshot below.
