How to Add Additional Galleries to a PhotoBiz Client Gallery Event

Overview

A PhotoBiz Client Gallery event can contain one gallery or multiple galleries. Adding additional galleries, also called sub-galleries, lets you organize images into separate sections while keeping them together within the same event.

For example, a wedding photographer could create separate galleries for Getting Ready, Ceremony, Portraits, and Reception. Clients can move between these galleries while viewing the same event.

This guide walks you through adding an additional gallery to an existing Client Gallery event and explains how multiple galleries work with Full Event Downloads.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click CLIENT GALLERIES in the left-side menu.

This opens the Client Galleries Dashboard.

STEP TWO

Click EVENTS at the top of the Client Galleries Dashboard.

STEP THREE

Click the name of the event where you want to add another gallery.

If you have not created the event yet, create your Client Gallery event first before adding additional galleries.

STEP FOUR

Inside the event, click NEW GALLERY.

PhotoBiz adds a new gallery to the event. You can repeat this process whenever you want to divide the event into additional sections.

FINAL STEP

Click the pencil icon next to the new gallery name to rename it. Use a name that helps your client understand what images are included, such as Ceremony, Reception, Family Portraits, or Outfit Two.

After naming the gallery, you can upload images directly into it.

What Your Client Sees

As you add additional galleries to your Client Gallery event, the different galleries will appear at the top of the event once your client has logged into to view their images similar to the screenshot below.

Organizing an Event With Multiple Galleries

Additional galleries let you divide one Client Gallery event into smaller, easier-to-browse sections without creating a separate event for each group of images.

Common ways to organize galleries include:

  • Getting Ready, Ceremony, Portraits, and Reception

  • Outfit One, Outfit Two, and Outfit Three

  • Family, Couples, and Individual Portraits

  • Highlights and Full Gallery

  • Different locations or portions of the same session

All of these galleries remain part of the same Client Gallery event.

Uploading Images to a Gallery

You can upload images directly into a specific gallery after creating it. You can also move images between galleries if you need to reorganize an event later.

Full Event Downloads and Multiple Galleries

If your Client Gallery event contains multiple galleries and you sell a Full Event Download, the download includes images from all galleries within that event.

You do not need to configure a separate Full Event Download for each gallery. Because the galleries are all part of the same event, the Full Event Download covers the entire Client Gallery event.
