How to Delete Images from Your PhotoBiz Website

Overview

You can delete outdated or unwanted images directly from an Images Block in your PhotoBiz Website Builder. You can remove one image or select multiple images to delete at the same time.

Deleting an image from an Images Block permanently removes that copy from the block and your account. This guide explains how to locate your images, save copies to the Image Clipboard when needed, and confirm their deletion.

Before You Delete Images

Move an image to the Image Clipboard before deleting it when you may want to use it again. Images stored in the Image Clipboard are not affected when you delete the original images from an Images Block.

You can also keep the original image file on your computer or another secure storage service.

STEP ONE

This opens the Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages and content.

STEP TWO

Click the page that contains the image or images you want to delete.

The page will open in the Website Builder and display its current content blocks.

STEP THREE

Click the Images Block that contains the images you want to delete.

The Images Block settings will open and display the images currently included in the block.

STEP FOUR

Before deleting an image, drag it to the Image Clipboard when you want to save a copy for future use. The copy stored in the Image Clipboard will remain available after you delete the image from the Images Block.

To delete one image, drag the image to the Delete button.

To delete multiple images, click and drag across the images to select them. Drag the selected group to the Delete button.

FINAL STEP

A confirmation message will appear. Click YES to permanently delete the selected image or images.

The images will be removed from the Images Block. Any copies you previously moved to the Image Clipboard will remain available in your account.

Save an Image Before Deleting It

The Image Clipboard allows you to save copies of images and reuse them in other supported areas of your PhotoBiz account. Moving an image to the clipboard does not remove it from its current Images Block.

Images saved to the Image Clipboard remain there until you remove them. This makes the clipboard helpful when reorganizing your website or deleting images you may need again later.

Helpful Notes

Review your selected images carefully before confirming the deletion.
Keep original copies of important images outside your PhotoBiz account.
Deleting an image is different from rearranging its position within an Images Block.
Images copied to the Image Clipboard are not affected when the original images are deleted from an Images Block.
