Overview
PhotoBiz Forms allow you to collect information from clients, leads, and website visitors. If you use Google Analytics, you can add a tracking tag to a form so visits to that form can be tracked in your Google Analytics account.
This guide walks you through where to add your Google Analytics visit tracking tag inside the PhotoBiz Forms Dashboard. After setup, form visit data will be available in Google Analytics.
PhotoBiz does not track, report, or store this Google Analytics visit data in your PhotoBiz account. You will need to view all collected analytics information directly inside Google Analytics.
Before you begin, make sure you have access to your Google Analytics tracking tag. You will need to copy the tracking tag from your Google Analytics account before adding it to your PhotoBiz form.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click FORMS in the left-side menu.
This opens your Forms Dashboard, where you can access your form tools.
Click Forms at the top-center of the Forms Dashboard.
This opens your list of forms, where you can select an existing form or create a new form.
Select the form you want to track.
You can click an existing form to open it, use the search bar if you have many forms or form categorires, or you can create a new form if you have not built the form yet.
Click the Gear Icon in the top-right corner of the form builder.
From the dropdown menu that appears, click Tracking. This opens the tracking settings for your form.
Paste your Google Analytics tracking tag into the Visit Tracking field.
Click Save Changes to apply the tracking tag to your form.
Once saved, visits to the form can be tracked through your Google Analytics account. You will need to log in to Google Analytics to view the collected data, reports, and activity.
Google Analytics tracking is useful if you want to better understand how visitors interact with your forms. This can help you review traffic for contact forms, inquiry forms, lead forms, registration forms, or other custom forms.
Keep these notes in mind:
I saved the tracking tag, but I do not see data in Google Analytics.
Google Analytics data may take time to appear. Make sure the tracking tag was copied correctly and saved in the Visit Tracking field for the correct form.
Can PhotoBiz Support view my Google Analytics form data?
No. Google Analytics data is managed inside your Google Analytics account. PhotoBiz Support can help you locate the tracking area in your form, but your analytics reports must be viewed in Google Analytics.
Do I need to add tracking to each form?
Yes. If you want to track visits for multiple forms, add the Google Analytics tracking tag to each form individually.
