Overview
If images on your website look zoomed in, stretched, or distorted while using Google Chrome or Safari, your browser may have saved a custom zoom setting for the website. Browser zoom affects the size of page content, including images, text, buttons, and layout sections.
This guide explains how to reset your browser zoom and remove saved zoom settings in Google Chrome and Safari. After completing these steps, your website should display images and page content at the correct size.
Instructions specific to Safari are found at the bottom of this article.
Before changing your browser settings, reset the zoom level on the page you are viewing.
For Windows or PC users, press CTRL + 0.
For Apple or Mac users, press Command + 0.
This resets the page zoom to the default level. If your images still look zoomed in or distorted, follow the steps below for your browser.
Open Google Chrome on your computer.
Click the three-dot menu () in the top right corner of the browser window. Select Settings from the menu.
You can also go directly to Chrome settings by typing chrome://settings into the address bar and pressing Enter.
Once you've accessed your settings, you'll see a screen similar to the one below.
Check for Chrome updates and make sure you’re on the latest version
In the bottom left of your Settings, click on “About Chrome” in order to check if your Chrome is up to date. Making sure that your device has the most up-to-date version of Google Chrome ensures you have no compatibility and/or security issues with your browser. You'll be able to see here what version you're using and be given the option to update if there's a new version available. Once you're up-to-date, Google Chrome will give you a confirmation message.

If you need to update your version of Chrome, be sure to restart Chrome before continuing to step 3.
Click on Privacy and Security in the left side menu of Google Chrome and then click on the SITE SETTINGS option.
This section of your Google Chrome settings will be where you'll be able to adjust the zoom settings on the images that is causing them to display improperly.
Pro Tip! You can skip directly to Step 5 by typing "chrome://settings/content/zoomLevels" into your Chrome address bar
Scroll down and click on "Additional Content Settings"
Click on Zoom Levels
Remove any websites listed in the Zoom Levels section by clicking on the X, this is to ensure Google Chrome is properly displaying images on the websites you visit.
Once you've performed the above steps, restart Google Chrome and your website will load normally.

In the Safari app on your Mac, select Safari and navigate to Preferences.
Once your Preferences menu appears, click Websites icon located in the top bar.
Click Page Zoom in the options that appear below on the left menu to display any page zoom settings Safari may have stored on your browser.
Select all websites listed under Configured Websites (to select several websites at once, press and hold the Shift or Command key as you click), then click Remove to clear the list.
Once you've performed the above steps, restart Safari and your website will load normally.
