Overview
PhotoBiz allows you to print invoices when you need a physical copy for bookkeeping, client records, or your business files. You can choose between Full and Compact print formats based on how you want the invoice arranged.
This guide explains how to locate an invoice, select a print format, and print the invoice from your browser. You can also save the printable invoice as a PDF for your records.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click QUOTES & INVOICES in the left-side menu.
This opens your Quotes & Invoices dashboard, where you can create and manage invoices, quotes, payments, and related settings.
Click INVOICES at the top of the Quotes & Invoices dashboard.
The Invoices section displays the invoices created in your account. Use the FILTER menu to view All invoices, which is selected by default, or narrow the list to Pending, Paid, or Overdue invoices.
Click the INVOICE NUMBER for the invoice you want to print.
The invoice details page will open. Review the client information, line items, pricing, payments, due date, and current balance before printing to confirm that everything is correct.
Click the PRINT button in the upper-right corner of the invoice.
The print menu will open and display the available Full and Compact print formats.
Select FULL or COMPACT from the print menu.
The printable invoice will open in your browser using the format you selected. Use your browser’s print window to choose your printer and complete the print process.
To keep a digital copy, select a PDF option such as Save as PDF. The exact name and location of this option may vary depending on your browser, computer, or device.
You should now see a print preview of your invoice and can print it or save a PDF copy for your records.
Both print formats include the essential information saved on the invoice. Depending on the invoice, this may include:
The primary difference between the formats is how the information is arranged on the page.
Full
The Full format uses a spacious layout with larger sections for the invoice number, amount due, client information, line items, totals, current balance, and business footer.
Use this format when you want the invoice information displayed with more space between sections. Depending on the amount of information included, a Full invoice may print on multiple pages.
Compact
The Compact format places the invoice information into a tighter layout to reduce unused space.
Use this format when you want the same essential invoice information arranged more efficiently. A Compact invoice may use fewer pages than the Full format, but longer invoices can still print on multiple pages.
The appearance and number of pages may vary based on the client information, line items, descriptions, messages, and other details included on the invoice.
The print window does not open
Confirm that your browser is not blocking pop-up windows. You can also refresh the invoice page and click PRINT again.
The invoice information is incorrect
Close the printable version and return to the invoice details page. Make the necessary changes, save the invoice, and then open the printable version again.
Part of the invoice is cut off
Check the paper size, page orientation, margins, and scaling options in your browser’s print window. Adjust the settings until the complete invoice appears in the print preview.
The invoice prints on more than one page
The number of pages depends on the selected format and the amount of information included on the invoice. Try the Compact format when you want to reduce unused space and potentially use fewer pages.
The date, web address, or page numbers appear on the printed invoice
These details are usually added by your browser. Turn off the Headers and footers option in your browser’s print settings before printing.
I do not see a Save as PDF option
Available PDF options depend on your browser, computer, and operating system. Look for an option such as Save as PDF, Print to PDF, Microsoft Print to PDF, or PDF in the printer or destination menu.
