How Do I Copy A Product?

How to Copy a Product in PhotoBiz ECommerce

If you are creating multiple products with similar details, such as size options, pricing, or layouts, you do not need to start from scratch each time. PhotoBiz allows you to quickly copy an existing product and update only what is different.

This guide walks you through copying a product in just a few clicks.

STEP ONE

Log into Your PhotoBiz Account and click ECOMMERCE in the left side menu. 

STEP TWO

At the top of your ECommerce control panel, hover over SELL ONLINE, then click PRODUCTS from the dropdown.

STEP THREE

Find the product you'd like to duplicate and to the right of the product name, click the grey copy icon.

If you have multiple categories or pages of products, you can also use the search toolbar to locate your product you want to create a copy of. 

FINAL STEP

Adjust the Product Copy Settings

Before creating your copied product, you can update the following settings:

  • Name: The copied product name will automatically include “(copy)”. Update this to your new product name.

  • Price: This will match the original product. Adjust the price if needed.

  • Active: Choose whether the product should be active immediately or remain inactive.

  • Copy Images?: Select Yes to keep the same images, or No if you plan to upload different images.

When ready, click CREATE COPY.

What’s Next?

After the product is copied, you can fine-tune the details, including:

  • Product description

  • Images

  • Options and pricing

Copying products is a major time-saver when selling similar fine art prints, sessions, or product packages.
