How To Edit An Individual Client Gallery Event Cover Page

Overview

Every PhotoBiz Client Galleries event includes a cover page that clients see before entering the gallery. The cover page can display your event name, logo, subtitle, button text, and a background image.

By default, the cover image is the first image in the first gallery within the Client Galleries event. You can keep this image or customize the cover page for an individual event without changing the design of your other events.

This guide explains how to edit the cover page for a specific Client Galleries event and customize its layout, text, logo, and cover image.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on Client Galleries in the left side menu.

STEP TWO

Click on the DESIGN at the top, center of the Client Galleries dashboard.

STEP THREE

Click the event name you want to update. If you have multiple events, use the search bar to find the event by name.

You can also create a new event if needed.

STEP FOUR

Click the Cover Page section to open the cover page settings for that event.

From here, you can customize the layout, logo, subtitle, button text, cover image, opacity, and image focal point.

Cover Page Settings

The settings in this section apply only to the Client Galleries event you are editing.

  • Cover Page Layout: Choose from the available cover page layouts. You can keep the default design or override your global Client Galleries design settings for this event.
  • Display Logo: Choose whether your logo appears on the event cover page.
  • Subtitle: Add an optional message below the event name. You can use this space for a welcome message, session information, or instructions for your client.
  • Button Text: Customize the text on the button clients click to continue into the gallery. For example, you could use View Images, Enter Gallery, or Access Gallery.
  • Cover Image: Choose the image displayed behind the cover page content. By default, PhotoBiz uses the first image in the first gallery within the event. You can keep the default image or choose a custom image.

When you choose the custom image option, you can use:

  • Custom Image: Upload a specific image from your device to use as the event cover image.
  • Clipboard: Choose an image you previously uploaded or added to the Image Clipboard.
  • Stock Photo: Choose an image from PhotoBiz's library of royalty-free stock images.
  • Cover Image Opacity: Adjust the visibility of the cover image. Changing the opacity can help make the event name, subtitle, logo, and button easier to read over a busy image.
  • Image Focal Point: Choose the most important area of the cover image. PhotoBiz uses the focal point when displaying or cropping the image across different screen sizes.

FINAL STEP

Scroll down and click Save Changes to apply your updates.

Your customized cover page will now appear when clients open that Client Galleries event. These changes affect only the event you edited and do not change the cover pages for your other events.

After saving, consider viewing the event on both desktop and mobile to make sure the cover image, focal point, text, and button display the way you want.

What Clients See

When a client opens the event, the cover page appears before they access the gallery.

If you use password protection or email entry, the cover page appears before those access screens.

A customized cover page can help you:

  • Reinforce your branding
  • Welcome clients to their gallery
  • Provide clear instructions
  • Create a more personalized presentation for a specific session or event

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

  • Each Client Galleries event can have its own cover page design.
  • Editing an individual event's cover page does not change your other Client Galleries events.
  • If you use the default cover image, PhotoBiz displays the first image from the first gallery within that event.
  • A custom cover image can help you create a presentation that better represents the session, client, or event.
  • Use Cover Image Opacity when text is difficult to read over the background image.
  • Use Image Focal Point to help keep an important subject or area of the image visible on different screen sizes.
  • Preview the event after making changes so you can confirm the cover page looks the way you want.
