How to Disable Comments on PhotoBiz Client Galleries

Overview

PhotoBiz Client Galleries makes it easy to share images with your clients in private, password-protected galleries. Each gallery event includes settings that control what your clients can do when viewing their images. This includes whether clients can leave comments on images in the gallery.

This guide will walk you through how to disable comments for a Client Galleries event.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on CLIENT GALLERIES in the left side menu.

STEP TWO

Click on EVENTS at the top, center of your Client Galleries Dashboard.

STEP THREE

Click the Client Galleries event name you want to update. You can also create a new event if you want to disable comments before sharing the gallery with your client.

If you have multiple events, use the search bar to locate an existing event by name.

STEP FOUR

Click on the EVENT SETTINGS icon on the upper right side of the event.

FINAL STEP

Scroll down in Event Settings and change Allow Comments to No. Click Save Changes to apply the new settings to your Client Galleries event.

Once saved, clients will no longer be able to leave comments on images in that event.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

Disabling comments only affects the selected Client Galleries event. If you have multiple gallery events, you will need to update the Allow Comments setting separately for each event where you want comments turned off.

You can return to Event Settings at any time and change Allow Comments back to Yes if you want clients to leave comments again.
