To import your contacts/leads/database from other providers, please upload a 4MB (Maximum) or less file in .CSV format. Most email and contact manager providers and applications will give you an option to export a .CSV file of your contacts. Please note, you can import 5000 contacts at once, so if you have more than 5000, please break them up into batches.
Before uploading your file, please verify the following:
- The file must have titles in English at the top of every column.
- The file must include at least one column labeled Email, as this is mandatory.
- It may include any or all of the following additional optional columns:
First Name
Last Name
Phone
Work Phone Number
Company Name
Birthday
Facebook
Address Line 1
Address Line 2
City
Country
State or Province
Zip Code
Shipping Address
Shipping City
Shipping Country
Shipping State or Province
Shipping Zip Code

Important Notes:
- There is a 5,000 contact selection limit per import attempt. Large lists may time out so if you're running into trouble importing a large list of contacts, try splitting your list into smaller batches to import them into your contact list. If your file has more than 5,000 contacts, the system will select the first 5,000. You can simplify larger contact imports by limiting each file upload to 5,000 contacts and uploading the CSV files separately. You can modify your file with Google Spreadsheets or Microsoft Excel, be use to save it as a .csv file document.
- Your contacts must have an email address in order to be imported
- The system will automatically exclude any duplicate email addresses or contacts without an email
Here's an example of the type format you'll want to follow for your CSV file.
When your CSV file is ready to upload, click on the CONTACTS tool, then click on the IMPORT button. From there, click on BROWSE... and select the file from your computer's file directory. When your file has been selected, click on the green CONTINUE
After you click on CONTINUE, you'll see an import preview. On this page, you'll be able to control the column labels from the drop down menu at the top of each column.
Under the import summary, there are three more sections to complete before starting the import.
First, you will SELECT A TYPE for these contacts. Your choices are: CUSTOMER, LEAD, or VENDOR.
Next, you can SELECT TAGS. This will help you create more specific lists within your contacts. To enter a tag, type it into the text box and click on ADD TAG. You can add multiple tags if needed, just click on ADD TAG between each one.
Lastly, check the checkbox that certifies that you have permission to use these email address.
And finally, click on the IMPORT button.
Next, you'll see a progress bar. When your import is 100% complete, you can click on the VIEW SUMMARY button to see more information about your import.
The import summary will show you the type of contacts that were imported, any tags you selected, the number of contacts imported, and the number of invalid contacts (duplicate contacts, or entries without an email address).
