PhotoBiz ECommerce allows you to sell product downloads from your online store. With product downloads, you control how long your file is available for your customer to download, and how many times your customer may attempt to download the file. This is a great option to allow your clients to download a PDF file or ebook, presets, as well as other digital options. This guide will walk you through the steps of creating a product download.
We recommend using the FILES section of your PhotoBiz account to host your digital product downloads. You can upload any of the following file types:
JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TTF, OTF, WOFF2, PDF, PSD, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, ZIP, ICO, MP3, JS, CSS, & SVG
The Files section of your PhotoBiz account can support files up to 50MB by adding the Original Files premium upgrade.
You can also add an external link for your customers to access their digital product downloads.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on the ECOMMERCE option in the left side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over the SELL ONLINE option at the top of your ECommerce control panel and click on PRODUCTS.
STEP THREE
Select the product you want to add a DIGITAL DOWNLOAD to, or create a new product by selecting the new product button.
STEP FOUR
Click on the tab for digital download
In the LINK TO section, you can choose File and select your file from the CHOOSE A FILE drop-down list.
If you're adding an external link, choose External link from the LINK TO drop down, then paste your link in the URL field.
You can also set the following options:
- Number of Days Download Is Available - controls how many days the download link will be valid once the order has been completed and paid for.
- Maximum Downloads Per Order - how many download attempts the download link will be valid for once the order has been completed and paid for.
Click on Save Changes to update your product to include the digital download.
